Fin2021 - Now
Fin is an AI customer service platform, previously known as Intercom. I joined in 2021 to work on the Helpdesk. I helped shape our workload management system, Tickets, real-time reporting and much of the Inbox that Fin users work in every day. In 2024 I led the redesign of the platform alongside Pentagram, and off the back of it, the design of Fin's new design system. Most of my time today goes into building AI tools that help everyone working on our agents ship faster with that system, as well as helping build new product initiatives across the company like Fin Operator.
Bumble is a dating app. I joined in 2020 as a Senior Product Designer to help scale the team ahead of Bumble's IPO and support key initiatives on the core product. Most of my work was with the Discovery team. I led the redesign of the profile editor, introducing contextual help so people could build better profiles and get more matches. I also worked on the design and build of interest badges, helping users with shared interests connect more easily. Interest badges paved the way for a better suggestions engine, so people could find matches with similar traits and interests.
Monzo is a UK digital bank. I joined in 2019 as a Product Designer across Growth and B2B. I led a number of iterations on the onboarding experience for new personal customers, making it quicker to open an account and cutting the support contacts that came with users trying to open a new account. I also worked on the launch and evolution of Monzo Business, the bank's first B2B product, designing its first web app and working with the mobile team on sign-up, invoice tracking and money transfers.
Argos is a British retailer. I joined the Product team in 2018 to improve Search and integrate Sainsbury's Nectar loyalty scheme across the Argos experience. I defined our approach to contextual Search, working out how customer jobs could serve up better results and suggestions as you shop. I also worked on the first integration of Nectar points into the Argos checkout, letting people spend points on purchases and giving them more ways to pay.
Azimo was a money transfer app for web and mobile. I joined in 2017 as one of three designers covering web, iOS and Android. I led the Zendesk integration and designed Azimo's first in-app support centre, giving people a way to self-serve before contacting the team. I also redesigned the money sending flow on the web app, and off the back of it built Azimo's first web design system in React, making it easier for teams to iterate and ship new features.
Travelex is a foreign exchange company. It was my first design job after moving to the UK in 2015. I led the design for Travelex Wire, an account-based web app for international payments, building the foundations of a design system from the ground up and designing all the core money transfer flows to give us a strong proposition for launch. I also supported the continuous iteration of two of Travelex's core products, the Travelex Money card and Supercard.
